The M47 field engineer pants are made of Vardhman's extra-long staple cotton chino fabric, processed by Italian wool raising machines to present a natural and understated "vintage feel". The style is inspired by the M47 field pants worn by the French army in the 1960s, featuring a high-waisted design that elongates the leg lines and incorporates retro details into modern design, creating a historical yet not so rigid and serious atmosphere.
